Automatic Squash Stroke #1
In squash, a player determines whether or not a stroke is to be called at the
precise moment at which he is about to strike the ball.
At that moment, draw two lines in your mind. The first line goes from the ball to the front left corner of the court. The second line goes from the ball to the front right corner of the court. The triangular area between these lines is the Red Zone.
If your opponent is anywhere in the Red Zone at the precise moment when you are about to strike the ball: STOP.
Do not strike the ball. You automatically win that rally.
When you swing at a squash ball while he is in the Red Zone, you risk causing serious injury to your opponent.
