Automatic Squash Stroke #2

In squash, a player determines whether or not a stroke is to be called at the precise moment at which he is about to strike the ball.

At that moment, if your opponent is in any position that that will interfere with your ability to hit the ball directly to the front wall: STOP.

Do not strike the ball. You automatically win that rally.

As the striker, you are entitled to a clear swing path and a reasonable followthrough. If your opponent is in your swing path, including followthrough, do not strike the ball. You automatically win that rally.

When you swing at a squash ball while he is in your swing path, you risk causing serious injury to your opponent.
