Calgary Tennis Box League

Our box leagues are open to men and women. New players are welcome. Joining a box league is an excellent way to meet other players in our racquet sports network. All new players enter through the bottom box and play their way up. Eventually, they rise to a level where they find players with similar skills.

Special Rules for This Box League

1. This league is open to Racquet Network members only. Please click here to join this league.
   
   
2. Players who wish to join this league must also be registered on the Tennis Ladder. If you are not currently registered, you must register before you can join this box league.
   
   
3. This is a play-or-die league. Players listed in the boxes must complete at least one match this month (no exceptions) in order to stay alive. Those who do will automatically be included in this league next month. Those who don't will be eliminated and will have to repay their fees and re-enter through the lowest open position.
   
   
4. Players must contact the other players in their box before the end of the fifth day of the month. Unresponsive players must be brought to the attention of the box league admin before the end of the seventh day of the month. Persistent unresponsiveness may result in removal from this league.
   
   
5. The official ball for this league is the Wilson US Open (Heavy Duty).
   
   
6. Any player has the right to demand that a tennis box league match be played with new balls. However, any player who makes this demand must provide such balls from a newly opened can.
   
   
7. This is an outdoor league. Games must be played outdoors. Players who wish to play indoors should join our Indoor Tennis Box League.
