Challenge Ladders

If you wish to play frequently, join more than one ladder.
Challenge Ladders 101 - Standings - Rules

Racquet Network's challenge ladders are ideal for frequent players at all levels who are seeking flexible and inexpensive ways to meet new players and play more often.

Ladder players choose who, when and where they play. Fees are required only when joining a ladder. We do not charge annual fees.

To date, Racquet Network members have played and reported 24,967 ladder games. This number represents approximately one-tenth of all games played within the network since it was created in 2004.

Is a Ladder Right for You?

Challenge Ladders are an excellent choice for:

  • people who want to play occasionally, infrequently or seasonally
  • people who cannot commit to a full season with a traditional club
  • people who are out of town frequently
  • people whose schedules make a weekly commitment impossible
  • frequent players who want to meet other players
  • competitive players who like to keep score
  • groups of players who want to track their results against each other
  • people who want to "test the waters"
  • people who want to get back into shape
  • people who are getting a little bored with their current partners

In order to ensure that only genuine players join our ladders, Racquet Network charges a small user fee. This makes all players who wish to join our ladders think twice about it. It also tends to keep out players who are not genuinely interested in playing frequently.

How Do You Rank?

Once you are registered on a Racquet Network ladder, you will automatically be included in our network-wide ranking system. At the moment, all ladder players are ranked internationally. By mid-2009, all ladder players will be ranked:

  • internationally
  • nationally
  • locally within each province/state and city
  • internally within each club in our system

How Do I Join a Challenge Ladder?

  1. You must be a member of Racquet Network  -  Join Here
