Newsletters are our primary source of communication with active customers. They are also our customers’ primary source for coupons and special offers.
In order to ensure that the newsletters we send are going to people who actually want to receive them, we have the following policies in place to guide our webmaster.
DOUBLE OPT-IN POLICY
Customers who are logged into their accounts may subscribe without the hassle of a confirmation email. People who wish to subscribe while not logged in will have to confirm their subscription by email. Those who fail to confirm, will be deleted.
Confirmation emails seem to automatically end up in TRASH folders. Please check your trash folder if you do not receive a confirmation email.
Webmaster instructions – Delete all subscribers whose “WP ID” = 0 and whose “groups” are unsubscribed.
Subscribers with three or more bounces will be deleted.
Webmaster instructions – Delete all subscribers where “bounced” >=3
UNOPENED NEWSLETTERS POLICY
Subscribers who have been sent 10 or more newsletters and who have opened less than 50% will be deleted.
Webmaster instructions – Delete all subscribers where “sent” >=10 and “sent”/”opened” <50%
OFFER groups are for subscribers who want to receive coupons and special offers.
TRAINING NOTICES are for subscribers who want to receive reminders about our regular group training activities. These emails include details about dates, times, and locations of training activities and meet-ups.
