I have played with both black and green 305. I find the black to be less durable than the green even though most of my friends think the opposite. To be honest, I don’t break string very often. I started changing my strings more often. Now that I am winning more often, I don’t want to go back to playing with dead sting. Black or green in this case makes no difference to me.

I was initially hesitant to switch to this string because I really liked tecnifibre 305 but had problems with breaking strings. I strung my Carboflex 130 with Dynamax at 27 pounds and was really impressed with the playability of the string. This string has the slippery feel of tecnifibre’s 305 string for spinning and cutting the ball but has proven to be a heck of a lot more durable that 305 green. I like to hit the ball hard and attack and this string stands up to my hard hitting and aggressive play and is also soft at the front. I won’t go back to 305 green!
