This is by far my favourite badminton racquet. I have tried all the other Nanorays from Racquet Network and I couldn’t put this racquet down.

I played high school badminton and used the Voltric 80. It had awesome power and great touch at the same time. I stopped playing for a few years to try other sports and decided it was time to come back to Badminton.

I started with my Voltric 80 and I kept returning weak backhand clears which lead to me losing many points. I decided to try a Nanoray racquet because it was designed to be a defensive racquet which exactly what I needed.

I recommend this racquet to any players who like playing defensive badminton and love a racquet that has a great feel.

Thanks RN for letting me try out the racquets.

I’m in love with this racquet. I have tried all of the high end Voltrics, Arc Sabers and Nanorays through Racquet Network’s demo program. The Glan Z is the right racquet for me right now.

I am an athletic recreational player with decades of experience. However, I have not played at all over the past five years. So my timing is not perfect and I am having to play defense more than I do when I am at the top of my game.

This racquet suits that style of play and it is the right racquet for me right now. The head is powerful and forgiving. So it allows me to return deep and high to the back of the court. The shaft is flexible and the frame is headlight, which allows me to parry and defend.

This racquet is NOT great for smashing because it is hard to generate a lot of power. Nevertheless, I smash successfully at couple of dozen times every match, so it does the job.

Given where I am right now — over 50 and required to play a defensive game against attacking players — this the right frame at the right time.
