Yonex Nanoray series has been the best overall series for ladies, juniors and defensive men for the past decade. However, it is now being phased out and replaced by the Yonex Nanoflare series.

Although there are a few racquets in this series that can be used by attacking players, this series is built primarily for defensive players, such as those who play the front of the court on a doubles team.
