Composite Pickleball Paddles
The word composite literally means “made of more than one material”. Since every pickleball paddle is made of more than one material, all pickleball paddles are composite paddles.
In pickleball, composite is generally used to describe paddles that are not made of graphite. For example, if a paddle has a fiberglass face, the manufacturer will call it composite. Another example might be a paddle with a foam core and a graphite face which might also be called composite.
The paddles in this group are identified in some way by their manufacturers as “composite”. This can be on product labeling or in product descriptions.
