Grip size is not important in pickleball. Unlike badminton and tennis, in which players are actually changing grips during play, pickleball players do not change groups.

Our pickleball coaches advise players to play with the largest grip they can comfortable manage because large grips provide the most traction. More traction leads to fewer miss-hits and fewer mistakes.
