Category: Tags: , ,

Description

Customers may rent tennis, squash, badminton or pickleball racquets for $5.00 per day. Racquets not returned by the close of business are automatically be charged for a second day.

Rental fees accrued in the past calendar month can be converted to store credits to be used to purchase anything offered in store.

Rental fees can be converted to store credits for a period of one calendar month after being accrued and may be used to purchase anything in the store. Rental fees older than one calendar month cannot be claimed as store credits.

Example 1:
John rents a racquet for five days, October 1-6. He pays a $5.00 rental fee per day for a total of $25.00. He returns the racquet on October 6 and purchases a pair of shoes for $100.00. All rental fees accrued during the past calendar month are applied to his purchase. In this case, the rental fees accrued total $25.00, so $25.00 is deducted from his total purchase. So he pays just $75.00 for the shoes and his rental fee is reduced to zero.

Example 2:
John rents a racquet for five days, October 1-6. He pays a $5.00 rental fee per day for a total of $25.00. He returns the racquet on October 6. On November 7 he returns to the store and purchases a pair of shoes for $100.00. His rental fees cannot be applied to his purchase because they were accrued more than one calendar month ago. So in this case his rental fees were $25.00.

Example 3:
John rents a racquet for five days, October 1-6. He pays a $5.00 rental fee per day for a total of $25.00. He returns the racquet on October 6. On November 3 he returns to the store and purchases a pair of shoes for $100.00. His rental fees from October 1-2 cannot be applied to his purchase because they were accrued more than one calendar month ago. However, his rental fees from October 3-6 were accrued in the past calendar month, so they can be used as store credits. So in this case his racquet rental fees were $10.00 and his available credits total $15.00. On November 3, he may use his remaining store credits to save $15.00 on any in-store purchase.

More information about racquet stringing:

  • Why Do Strings Break? - Here at Racquet Network, our stringers re-string nearly 2000 racquets a year. Less than a dozen racquets a year come back for warranty repairs. This means that 99.994% of the racquets we repair are fine while 0.006% experience premature string breakage. Yet in almost every one of the 0.006% of cases where strings break prematurely, […]

  • Where to Buy Stringing Machines in Canada - Racquet stringing machines are like everything else in life. You get what you pay for. Table top racquet stringing machines, in our expert opinion, are almost useless. While they can be used to put string in a racquet, table top machines are not accurate and cannot be used to produce any volume. They are not […]
  • Custom Stringing vs Discount Stringing - Ian asks: “Why does custom stringing cost more than discount stringing?” The one-word answer is: efficiency. Discount stringing customers save money because they have fewer options. Our stringers can stack up a bunch of discount stringing racquets for five or six days and then bang them all out at the same time without having to […]
  • Tennis Racquet Stringing Options for Competitive Juniors - Why do so many of Alberta’s top competitive junior tennis athletes and their parents choose to string at Racquet Network? Probably because our expert staff and coaches work with parents to protect the health of their junior athletes. Keep in mind that we have been working with junior tennis players and their families since 2004. […]
  • Is Your Racquet a String Eater? - Take a good look at the racquet in the image at the top of this article. It won’t take you long to see why the string broke where it broke. It broke because the grommet for that string hole is both crushed and split. Two holes to the left of that, another grommet is broken. […]

  • Yonex Anti-Vibration Technology - Every racquet manufacturer deals with the issue of unwanted and potentially unhealthy tennis racquet vibrations in a slightly different way. However, most create a break in the kinetic chain somewhere between the string bed and the player’s arm in order to interrupt the vibrations before they get to the player’s elbow. Babolat, for example, places […]
  • Wrong Product – Right Price - It doesn’t matter what you are buying — racquets, shoes, string, accessories — price should not be your most important consideration. If it is, you will almost certainly make a poor decision. In the past 24 hours, for example, we have had two customers make poor decisions because they had price-focused tunnel vision. One spent […]
  • Tennis Racquets for Smart Beginners - Beginners, especially men, often assume that paying more for a racquet will automatically make them better tennis players. Unfortunately, this is not true. In fact, spending too much may do more harm to a beginner’s game than spending less. Smart beginners start with racquets that are designed specifically for beginners. Then, when they are ready, […]

  • Where to Buy Prince Tennis Racquets in Calgary - Prince fans in Calgary have had a hard time finding Prince tennis racquets over the past five years. The good news is that this situation appears to have stabilized. Prince now has a reliable distributor in Canada […]
  • Custom Tennis Racquets - Most people hear the words “custom tennis racquets” and they immediately think “expensive”. That’s unfortunate. What they should think is “awesome”, as in “something created specifically for me”. Contrary to popular belief, custom tennis racquets do not cost a lot more than off-the-shelf racquets.
