Free Racquet Stringing

Our cheapest option is free. That’s right, free. Frequent players who are actively trying to help grow their sports are rewarded with free labour on their personal racquets. Depending on the player and what their contributions have been recently, we may reward them with free labour on single racquet as a one-time thing or we may string all of their racquets for free all of the time.

We even have a program that allows coaches, parents and active players access to our stringing machine after hours so that they can string their own racquets. In short, we are good to people who are good to us.

Cheap Racquet Stringing

Players who have not made a significant contribution to the growth of racquet sports in Calgary are required to pay the usual fees for stringing services, but that doesn’t mean they have to pay full price for custom stringing services every time they come in. In fact, we offer a number of low-price options for Calgary badminton players.

Our best know economy option is our Stringing-On-the-Spot program which runs from 5:00-8:00pm every weekday. We also offer a “Just the Basics” program and another program for frequent string breakers.

Surprise Bonuses

Customers who frequent our On-the-Spot stringing program, are sometimes surprised to find out that we have deducted an additional 20% to 100% off of their already low stringing bill. We call these unannounced Customer Appreciation nights and we hold them once a week every week.

During these random, unannounced customer appreciation events, we check five major review sites while we are stringing each customer’s racquet. If we see positive reviews that match the customer’s name, we knock off 20% for each. This is our way of showing our appreciation for customers who are out there saying nice things about us.

Bulk Stringing

Schools, clubs and groups, meanwhile, can enjoy the benefit of strength in numbers because they can access our bulk stringing programs.

Custom Stringing

Price is not everything, though. Most of our players still want custom stringing so that they can have their racquet customized to their individual specifications. Therefore also offer customize and express options. The good news is that players who want custom stringing always have the option of pre-ordering online and getting online discounts that are not available to walk in customers.

Racquet Stringing Options

Racquet Network offers Calgary customers several options for racquet stringing services. Frequent re-stringers who want custom stringing can save the most money by pre-ordering online and submitting reviews for discounts. In most cases, online 1-week-or-less orders are completed within 24 hours and come with all of the extras offered by custom racquet stringing.

We do all racquets in the order in which they come in, with one exception. Customers who absolutely have to have their racquets back immediately can pay extra to jump ahead of other people in line. Guaranteed one-day service can be purchased for an additional $10.00. Guaranteed one-hour service can be purchased for an additional $20.00.

Racquet Network’s southwest Calgary store offers on-the-spot racquet stringing while you wait every weekday evening from 5:00-8:00pm. Discount Racquet Stringing in Calgary

With more than 150 kinds of string in stock at any given moment, Racquet Network is well-known in Calgary for offering custom racquet stringing.

Since the racquet sports player network was founded in 2004, the southwest Calgary racquet store has turned out thousands of customized tennis, squash, badminton and racquetball racquets to some of our city’s best players and coaches.

“We have built our reputation on customized racquet stringing,” says owner Brent Johner. “We have always offered our customers more options than anywhere else. We offer more kinds of string, more colours, and more brands. We also offer more turnaround options. Our customers have always had the option of getting their racquets back in an hour, a day or a week.”

Discount racquet stinging is new for Racquet Network. “Discount stringing is much cheaper,” Johner notes, “because it comes with fewer options.”

Home-based discount racquet stringers charge less than custom stringing stores like Racquet Network because they offer fewer options. Most stock only a few kinds of string and have very narrow windows for picking up and dropping off. A store like Racquet Network, by contrast, is open long hours which makes pick up and drop off very convenient.

“We don’t expect to get much in the way of discount racquet stringing,” says Johner. “We expect that most of our customers will still come to us because they want their racquets back fast and they want to customize their string beds to optimize performance, but we feel it is an important service to offer.”

Racquet Network is a family business that serves both players and their families, Johner notes. In a lot of cases, Mom or Dad are serious players and want everything customized. However, they may not want the same level of customization for their kids. Discount stringing gives players who are not ready for customized racquet stringing a low-cost option. At the same time, it gives Racquet Network the opportunity to serve their customers’ entire families.

“Discount stringing is a great option for players who aren’t in a hurry and aren’t looking for any performance enhancements,” says Johner. “It may be a backup racquet or an old racquet somebody found in a closet. We don’t judge. If that’s what people want, we are happy to serve them.”
