Description
This is a support program for competitive athletes under the age of 18 who restring frequently and who live in the Calgary area.
This program is intended to help parents cope with the high cost of supporting competitive junior athletes.
Competitive junior players who are enrolled in professionally coached city, provincial or national programs get up to 6 custom restrings per month at no charge for labour. Additional restrings during the same month are at 50% off labour. In exchange, these players give back by helping us grow their sports.
Basic Terms
- player must commit to a six month term
- one reel of string must per purchased at the start of the program
- standard turnaround only — no rush jobs
- player must update readers on their accomplishments so that our members can follow their careers
- player must actively share Racquet Network and its player community posts on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and other social media
- a standard service agreement laying out specific Terms of Service must be signed by the athlete and their parents before entering into the program
Players who excel in this program, may be offered other opportunities such as partial or full brand sponsorship. They may also be offered additional opportunities in our retail store or in support of our coaches and instructors.
Who May Apply?
This program is open to Racquet Network customers with a transaction history dating back at least six months. Please apply by sending a resume of junior athletic accomplishments to orders@racquetnetwork.com.
Players who are not currently in the Top 3 in their age bracket are strongly encouraged to apply.

Yonex Stringing Team
Racquet Network is a member of the prestigious Yonex Stringing Team. We are invited to string at elite tennis and badminton events. While we cannot attend every event we are invited to, we do our best to help out when such events are in Alberta.
