Description
Babolat ™ Pure Aero Team Tennis Racquet
Series Description
Babolat’s Pure Aero series is a premium tennis racquet series created for competitive players with clean strokes who like to hit with top spin. The series consists of a number of models in different weights that correspond to increasing body weight, strength and athletic ability from the ages of 10 through adulthood. As a result, the tennis racquets in the Pure Aero series can grow with players through all stages from beginner through intermediate to advanced/elite.
The lightest racquet in the series is the Aero Pro Junior 25, for children. The heaviest racquet in the series is the Pure Aero Tour, designed for athletic men in their primes. In the middle of the series is the Pure Aero Team, which is designed for adult men and women at the recreational level.
All racquets in the Pure Aero series are 16×19 with 100 square inch heads, which put them in the all-purpose category. Racquets in this category can be used for singles and/or doubles tennis at all levels.
Racquet Description
This racquet, the Pure Aero Team, was created as a recreational or junior version of the Pure Aero, which is used on the pro tour by Rafael Nadal and others. It is one-half ounce (~15g) lighter than the Pure Aero and a full ounce (~30g) lighter than the Pure Aero Tour. This makes the Team version a bit easier to serve and hit with than either of the pro versions. As a result, it is generally a better fit for recreational players who are rated 3.5 and below.
