Our Description
Some people call this the world’s best squash string. We don’t disagree. It is a highly playable and pleasurable string. more professionals and near professionals play with it than any other string in squash. However, this string is not for pounders, bashers or frequent string breakers.
Tecnifibre 305 squash string has more than enough power to get the ball to the back of the court, which is why top players prefer it. What is does not have is sufficient strength to stand up to players who pound overhead serves and hit the ball much harder than squash players need to.
Our advice to players who rely entirely on power or who rely on pounding overhead serves to win points is to stay away from playable strings like 305. If they must have 305, then we recommend that they opt for the 16 gauge version of this string because both of the other gauges (17 and 18) will break too easily.
