Our Description
Yonex BG80 is a durable multifilament that features moderate repulsion and a hard feel on impact. It is the preferred string for the majority of competitive badminton players in Calgary who are playing with feather shuttles. While suitable for many adults and advanced juniors, big strong men/teens who like to smash may find BG80 lacks sufficient durability, especially for players using nylon shuttles.
Yonex BG80 is our go-to string for ladies, juniors and seniors playing with nylon shuttles. BG80 is thin enough to provide additional power (which this group tends to need) and thick enough to provide durability (which is rarely an issue for this group).

The high-modulus Vectran fibre is an advanced material wrapped round a strong multifilament core. The Vectran ™ high strength and high-elasticity spiral winding prolongs durability and racquet stringing tension.

Racquet Network is a member of the prestigious Yonex Stringing Team. We are invited to string at elite tennis and badminton events. While we cannot attend every event we are invited to, we do our best to help out when such events are in Alberta.
